There are a tremendous number of resources out on the web for how to learn programming.

First you need to start with the basics; that is what we will be doing.  Then you need to decide what you want to do.   iPhone game?  Web based game?  Something else?  Each will dictate what programming language to use.

But before you learn the language, you need to learn how to program; just like you need to learn how to write well, as well as the English language itself.  Getting you started on that path is our goal

• Codeacademy also has a lot of excellent material.
• Udacity is one of the leaders in free online classes on programming and computer topics.
